It is our pleasure to announce the opening of A Tale of Two Cities: Edinburgh and Lisbon at the Museum of Lisbon, Portugal.
This is the third presentation of the award-winning A Tale of Two Cities exhibition, which this time offers a comparative exploration of the cities of Edinburgh in Scotland and Lisbon in Portugal. The new exhibition brings to light the fascinating contrasts and striking similarities between the cities of Edinburgh and Lisbon, including comparisons of Edinburgh Castle and Lisbon’s St. Jorge Castle, Edinburgh’s Forth Bridge and Lisbon’s Vasco da Gama Bridge.
The display, developed in partnership with Museum of Lisbon and Historic Environment Scotland, will be presented in the new galleries of the Museum of Lisbon’s Torreão Poente until 22 December 2016.
